The "Monster Mile" is one of the most difficult tracks on the NASCAR circuit. The demanding 1-mile racetrack is hard on brakes as well as the drivers themselves. Like its famous mascot Miles the Monster, Dover takes a bite out of racecars.
Dover is one of just two concrete tracks on the schedule (the other is Bristol). There used to be three concrete tracks where NASCAR would regularly race, but Nashville, which shares the same owners as Dover, is not hosting any NASCAR races this year.
Miles the Monster, the track's looming concrete mascot, also appears on the winner's trophy. Who will take home one of the coolest trophies in NASCAR in the Camping World Truck Series, Nationwide Series and Sprint Cup Series? Tune in this weekend.
