Travel Tips: Charlotte Motor Speedway – Sept. 28-30, 2018

The 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs heads to NASCAR’s “home track,” Charlotte Motor Speedway, for something new – the first Cup Series race at Charlotte’s “Roval,” Friday through Sunday, Sept. 28-30. Joining the Cup Series this weekend is the Xfinity Series.

Fans in town early will have plenty of things to keep them busy, including these tours brought to you by Charlotte Motor Speedway and the Joe Gibbs Racing Fan Fest and Car Show on Friday, Sept. 28. Check your favorite team’s website during the week to see if they have anything scheduled for race week.

Rock legend Sammy Hagar will be performing on pit road on Saturday night. The “Rock the Roval” concert begins at 9 p.m. ET, preceded by a special edition of NASCAR Trackside Live beginning at 7:45 p.m. ET – find out more here.
