Prelude to the Dream tickets on sale March 1st
ROSSBURG, OH (January 29) – Reserved seat tickets for Eldora Speedway’s annual Prelude to the Dream, considered to be the most sought after item in grassroots racing, will go on sale Monday, March 1 at 10:00 AM (EST), on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets for the Wednesday evening, June 9, charity based event will become available online through the speedway’s website, www.eldoraspeedway.com, around the clock, or by calling the track office (937) 338-3815 during normal business hours.
Track owner, and two-time NASCAR Cup champion, Tony Stewart has remained firm on ticket pricing for the event that will again feature a multitude of his fellow NASCAR drivers, plus other top motorsports superstars in a return to their roots of short track racing. General admission tickets, regardless of age, will be $23, with the reserved seats priced at $25.
In preparation for the onslaught of ticket requests, Eldora’s ticketing team has issued a few guidelines and reminders.
All seating this year will be considered as reserved, with general admission tickets earmarked as standing room only or for the grass hillsides (lawn chairs recommended). The general admission option will not be available online; solely through the track office.
Persons wishing to purchase seats in the patio area are being reminded that this is no longer a ‘bring your own lawn chair’ area. The patio now features three-tiered bleachers, complete with back rests.
Online orders are limited to 12 tickets; groups requiring more than 12 tickets will be required to place their order through the speedway office. Checks are not accepted for payment, with the credit card usage limited to VISA or MasterCard.
Pit passes are not available, or sold, for this event.
Release of the processed tickets will not begin until approximately May 17.
