Hornaday on pole for E-Z-GO 200 at AMS


Camping World Truck Series Champion Ron Hornaday Jr. won the pole position for today's E-Z-GO 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway with a lap of 31.195 seconds, 177.721 mph during this morning's qualifying session.

This is Hornaday's 24th pole in 252 Truck Series starts and his second pole at Atlanta. He ranks third on the all-time series poles list.

Kyle Busch qualified second with a lap of 31.268 seconds, 177.306 mph. Busch will be making his second start as owner/driver for his Truck Series team, Kyle Busch Motorsports.

Austin Dillon, who will roll out fifth, was the fastest qualifying rookie.

The E-Z-GO 200 will be broadcast today at 2 p.m. ET on SPEED. Green flag is scheduled for 2:16 p.m. ET.
