Logano claims 10th career Nationwide pole

96415477TP006_TMSJoey Logano will start on the pole for Sunday’s O'Reilly Auto Parts 300 Nationwide race at Texas Motor Speedway. He ran the fastest lap of 29.085 seconds, 185.663 mph in the No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota during Friday’s qualifying session.

This is Logano’s 10th pole in 47 Nationwide Series starts. It marks his third pole in 2010.

Clint Bowyer, stepping into the No. 21 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet for John Wes Townley, will start on the outside pole.

Greg Biffle, driving for Baker Curb Racing, spun out during qualifying. He will start from the 42nd position.

Roush-Fenway driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was the fastest qualifying rookie and will start fifth.

Because of rain Saturday, the O'Reilly Auto Parts 300 was postponed to Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on ESPN2 following the conclusion of the Samsung Mobile 500 Sprint Cup race.
