Austin Dillion, claimed the pole for the season opening race, the NextEra Energy Resources 250 at Daytona International Speedway. Fitting, that Austin, driving the black number 3, will start from the pole as we all remember the passing of Dale Earnhardt. Dillion, with a time of 50.266 seconds, clocked in at 179.047 MPH.
