NSCS Pole Report: David Ragan Wins First Sprint Cup Pole at Texas Motor Speedway

David Ragan received his first ever Sprint Cup career pole Friday night at Texas Motor Speedway. At 189.820 MPH, he took a lap time of 28.45 seconds. He was only .19 of a second faster than his Roush-Fenway teammate, Carl Edwards. The Samsung Mobile 500 television coverage will begin at 7 PM Saturday on Fox.
