NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) driver Justin Lofton has parted ways with Germain Racing, effective immediately. Lofton, the 2009 ARCA Racing Series champion, will finish out the remainder of the 2011 racing season. He will announce his plans prior to the next event at Kentucky Speedway on July 7th.

“I have nothing but respect for Mike Hillman, Sr. and everyone at Germain Racing,” Lofton said. “We had a good run during my last race for them and I plan on building on that through the rest of the season. I am really excited about the rest of the year, that is for sure.”

Lofton currently sits 18th in the driver point standings after the first nine NCWTS races, with a best finish of 10th. He also led his first laps of NASCAR competition two races ago in Kansas, leading the way for seven laps.

Lofton earned four top-five and eight top-10 finishes last season during his rookie season in trucks.
