Pole Report: Dillon gets the pole for truck series race at Kansas


Austin Dillon earned his ninth career pole at Kansas on Saturday with a speed of 169.966 mph and a time of 31.771 seconds. Starting next to him is Clint Bowyer in the 2 truck. To round out the top five: Johnny Sauter, Nelson Piquet Jr., and Ron Hornaday Jr.

Ricky Carmichael crashed, destroying his truck and was required to go to a backup truck.
