Turner Motorsports has tapped Ricky Carmichael to drive four NASCAR Nationwide Series races this season. This weekend’s race at Road America will be his debut race in the No. 30 Monster Energy Chevrolet. Carmichael will also race at Daytona, Richmond and Phoenix.

Competing at Road America will mark Carmichael’s first attempt at a road course in NASCAR. Carmichael does have limited experience from running the K&N Pro Series, competing at Watkins Glen and Lime Rock.

Carmichael has previously made four starts in the Nationwide Series, debuting last season at Kansas, bringing home an 18th-place finish after starting in the 12th position. He also competed at Fontana (finished 31st), Texas (35th) and Phoenix (21st).
