After an exciting G-W-C finish to end the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Michigan International Speedway, Kevin Harvick claimed his 11th career win in the NCWTS piloting the No. 2 TapOut truck for his self owned teamed. Kevin Harvick became the first driver to win at Michigan in all three of NASCAR's top series, he has also done this at Martinsville, Phoenix and Atlanta.

In a strange occurrence during the race, Kyle Busch ran over debris which punctured his radiator. In the garage the debris was found to be a side window panel from another truck, so the question is, who is missing their window?

In the closing laps chaos ensued at lap 91 after Parker Kligerman slide into Mark Martin which incited multiple chain effect accidents claiming the trucks of Matt Crafton, Dakoda Armstrong, Austin Dillon among others. This would set up for the exciting finish in which Harvick battled with Peters and Paludo for the win. Peters and Paludo, both out of the Red Horse Racing stable of drivers, finished p2 and p3. This was the career best finish for Paludo, whose wife is due to give birth any second.
