Brad Keselowski will skip the NASCAR Nationwide Series race this weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway as he continues to recover from injures sustained earlier this month during a practice crash at Road Atlanta.
Penske developmental driver, Parker Kligerman, will climb into the No. 22 Penske Racing Dodge on Friday night for the Food City 250.
This will mark the first Nationwide start this season for Kligerman, who currently drives for Brad Keselowski in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. In a statement sent out on Tuesday, Penske president Tim Cindric said that Keselowski’s availability in the NASCAR Nationwide series is currently being monitored on a race-by-race basis.
