Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) and the NASCAR Hall of Fame (NHOF) teamed up to spotlight Richie Evans’ induction into the upcoming NHOF Class of 2012.

Blaney will drive the No. 36 Golden Corral/HOF/Richie Evans Chevrolet with an orange and blue paint scheme similar to the last modified that Evans drove.

Recognized as one of, if not the greatest drivers in the modified series, Evans earned nine championships in a thirteen-year span with eight of them being consecutive. Known as the “Rapid Roman,” in 1979 he had a 37-win season. In 1998 he was recognized as one of NASCAR’s 50 Greatest Drivers.

TBR Development driver Bobby Santos, driver of the No. 4 Mystic Missile Dodge, also honored Evans in the Whelen Modified Tour race at NHMS on Saturday.
