NASCAR By the Numbers: Racing in the ATL
NASCAR packed up and headed to Hot-lanta as Atlanta as often referred to because of the blazing hot temperatures, this weekend was no different. Sweltering temperatures made for some great racing.
NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Atlanta 200:
Anything that could go wrong for incoming points leader Johnny Sauter did, after contact with Nelson Piquet Jr., Sauter’s night went downhill fast. As a result and thankful for a strong 10th-place finish, James Buescher now is the points leader.
Biggest Losses: Cole Whitt –3

Carl Edwards won, Ricky Stenhouse holds onto and steepens his points lead after a rough night for Sorenson.
