Ron Hornaday does it again - winning career race No. 51 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in a crash marred Smith's 350.

The race was a disaster for the points leaders Austin Dillon and James Buescher, who were both involved in wrecks. The No. 3 truck hit the wall on Lap 3  and from there his day went down hill. Dillon made numerous pit stops to work on the No.3 truck before heading to the garage for repairs. Buescher suffered the same fate after being hit by teammate Blake Feese, who got loose and collected his Turner Motorsports teammate.

At Lap 31 Ricky Carmichael went around and his spin collected the trucks of Miguel Paludo, Brian Ickler and Cale Gale. A red flag was brought out to clean up the debris and was displayed for about 10 minutes. Paludo and  Ickler were unable to continue due to the damage on their trucks.

A total of 10 cautions, a total of 44 laps run under yellow, marred the day of many drivers. At one point there were only 4 drivers on the lead lap.

It was one driver who was the class of the field - Ron Hornaday Jr. who led a total of 107 laps.
