Today’s pole at Kansas places Carl Edwards third on the all-time series poles list, with one to go until he ties Tommy Ellis for second. It is also his sixth of the season and first at Kansas Speedway. He had a lap time of 31.483 seconds at a speed of 171.521 MPH. Brad Keselowski and Ryan Truex round out the top three.
