Pole Report: Hendrick Motorsports snags front row at Talladega

Mark Martin ran a blistering fast lap of 52.799 seconds at 181.367 MPH at Talladega Superspeedway Saturday afternoon. This is Martin’s 51st career pole and seconds this year. Teammates Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. qualified second, fifth, and sixth respectively. Clint Bowyer and Trevor Bayne fill the third and fourth spots.
