As the season winds down, the Sprint Cup and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series take to the paperclip shaped track of Martinsville, Virginia. For the Cup Series, only four races remain and while Carl Edwards has a 14 point lead, Martinsville is a hurdle he has to overcome on his path to the Sprint Cup title.

Featuring long straightaways and tight narrow turns, Martinsville is a track that drivers rely on their brakes. Holding the title as the shortest track on the circuit, 0.526 miles in length, drivers will be fighting for positions and maybe fighting off track afterwards. Martinsville is one of those tracks, as they say, short tracks equals short tempers.

The battle in the NCWTS remains a nail biter with just three races remaining; Austin Dillon holds just a three point lead over James Buescher. Lying just 14 and 16 behind are Johnny Sauter and Ron Hornaday, both looking to pounce and make their move for the championship.

Who will be taking home the grandfather’s clocks this weekend? Tune into find out.
