Jennifer Jo Cobb is an independent driver/owner who has been covered frequently here at Skirts & Scuffs. Here’s a quick look at this fiery driver. 
  • Jennifer Jo Cobb was born June 12th, 1973 in Kansas City, Kansas. Her father, Joe Cobb, races modifieds at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, which is where Cobb got her start in 1991.
  • In 2002, she made her ARCA debut, followed by her NASCAR debut in the Busch (now Nationwide) Series in 2004. In 2008 she made her first Truck Series start; in 2010, Cobb raced in the series full-time after purchasing the assets of Rick Crawford’s No. 10 truck team. She went on to finish 17th in final points in the Camping World Truck Series, the highest-ranking female points finisher in any of NASCAR’s top three series.
  • In 2011, Cobb split her time between the Truck Series and Nationwide Series. At Daytona International Speedway in February, she posted a sixth-place finish in the Truck Series race, the highest finish by a woman in the series’ history.
  • Off the track, Cobb has an Associate’s degree in Pre-Journalism and is working on her Bachelor’s degree. She is a registered speaker and does approximately 50 speaking engagements and appearances each year. She is also the owner of Driver Boutique and DrivenMale, clothing lines for women and men, respectively; proceeds from the clothing lines go toward Jennifer Jo Cobb Racing.
