NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Driver Suspended Indefinitely


DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Nov. 22, 2011) – Jack C. Smith, a driver in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, has been indefinitely suspended from NASCAR for violating the sanctioning body’s substance abuse policy.

He was found to have violated Sections 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing) and 19 (violation of the NASCAR substance abuse policy) of the 2011 NASCAR rule book.

Smith, driver of the No. 63 Truck, has three starts this season in the Truck Series this season and had a 14th place finish at Kansas, a 15th at Texas and a 23rd at Gateway, all for owner Mike Mittler.
