As the closing of Kevin Harvick Inc. was announced and the shock wore off, talk turned to "where is Ron Hornaday Jr. going to go, will he retire?" All that was answered today at Homestead-Miami Speedway as Hornaday announced his move to Joe Denette Motorsports for the 2012 season.

Joe Denette Motorsports is a young team, started by Denette, a Mega Millons winner and lifelong NASCAR fan. Currently Jason White is the only full-time driver for JDM while Elliott Sadler has also made several appearances in a JDM truck. The team will also run the No. 23 truck in a few races next year, but it is unknown who will be the driver at this time.

"We're making some big changes and looking to make big improvements for next year," Denette said Friday. "We expect to win races and run for a championship."

Hornaday, who is making his 300th career start tonight at Homestead, will be driving the No. 9 truck with Jeff Hensley as his crew chief. No sponsorship has been announced yet.
