The Bud Shootout is unique, each driver picks their starting spot and if you’re lucky, you get the pole. Martin Truex Jr. was the lucky man Friday night drawing the Budweiser bottle with the pole award.

Others were not so lucky during Bud Shootout practice. Tony Stewart, Kurt Busch, Kyle Busch, AJ Allmendinger, Brad Keselowski, and Jeff Gordon were all involved in a multi-car wreck that began when Tony Stewart turned Kurt Busch while trying to draft. Keselowski, Allmendinger, Kyle Busch and Kurt Busch may have to start from the rear of the field for the Shootout. NASCAR is holding off of a ruling until some point today.

The Budweiser Shootout can be viewed on FOX tonight at 8 PM. The green flag is expected to drop at 8:29.
