Skirts and Scuffs Predictions: Holly Machuga chooses the champs
It's the time of year for the Skirts and Scuffs contributors to look into the future and make their 2012 predictions. Today, Holly Machuga predicts who is holding the trophies in November. Agree or disagree with Holly, please share your thoughts.
Sprint Cup Series: Carl Edwards
Last year I picked Carl Edwards because of his consistency. Even in the worst of times, Edwards and the Roush Fenway Racing team were able to pull through it all. With three second place finishes in the pint standings (2005, 2008, and 2011), he is just begging for a championship. I believe that Edwards and his team will bring absolutely everything they have to the table for the 2012 season.
Nationwide Series: Austin Dillon
Austin has proven to be a great asset to his grandfather’s team the last couple of years. After his Camping World Truck Series championship last year it looks to me as if he will definitely be going after the Nationwide championship and bringing the No.3 car that Dale Earnhardt Sr. made famous back to victory lane.

Camping World Truck Series: Johnny Sauter
Coming off a win at Homestead-Miami Speedway in November and a runner-up position in the championship points, I think Johnny Sauter will be a definite contender for the 2012 season. This was Sauter’s third season in the Truck Series, where he has finished sixth, third, and second respectively.
