NSCS Pole Report: Martin wins 52nd career Sprint Cup pole



Mark Martin won the pole for the SUBWAY Fresh Fit 500 at Phoenix International Raceway with a lap of 26.313 seconds at 136.815 MPH. This is Martin’s 52nd career pole in the Sprint Cup Series in 832 races and his second pole at Phoenix International Raceway. Last year’s championship winner, Tony Stewart, as well as Regan Smith rounded out the top-three.
