The Likely Suspects: Richmond short track stand-outs include Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick, Jeff Gordon, Clint Bowyer, Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman, Kurt Busch, Mark Martin, Jimmie Johnson, Carl Edwards, and Jeff Burton.

My 2 Cents: There are some clear choices this week and some drivers to pick and then hope and pray. So my definites are Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin. Kyle has this race and track figured out and Denny has the consistency and performance to be my number 2 guy, with Kevin Harvick as his stand-in. Mark Martin is racing this week and his record at Richmond makes him a no-brainer along with Clint Bowyer, Ryan Newman and Jeff Burton. I'm going to finish my team the hope/pray duo of David Ragan and Aric Almirola.

I will be taking a careful look at practice and especially qualifying. Track position is key at Richmond. In fact, 63 of 111 races have been won from the top five starting positions, including 22 from the pole. Good luck with your team and enjoy the race!
