NSCS Pole Report: Martin Truex Jr. takes the pole at Texas

Martin Truex Jr. won the pole for Saturday’s Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway with a lap of 28.366 seconds at 190.369. This is his seventh Sprint Cup Series pole and second at Texas Motor Speedway. The top-five was rounded out by Matt Kenseth, Greg Biffle, Mark Martin, and Kasey Kahne.
