NSCS Pole Report: Almirola wins pole for the Coca-Cola 600
It’s an all Richard Petty Motorsports front row at Charlotte
for this weekend’s Coca Cola 600. Aric Almirola won his first Sprint Cup Series
pole with a lap of 27.99 seconds at 192.94 mph. Teammate Marcos Ambrose had a
lap of 28.18 seconds at 191.598. Jimmie Johnson, Greg Biffle, and Clint Bowyer
round out the top-5.
