Travel Tips: Pocono Raceway

Pocono “The Tricky Triangle” Raceway will be hosting both the NASCAR Camping World Truck (Pocono Mountains 125) and Sprint Cup (Pennsylvania 400) Series’ this weekend in Long Pond, PA. The NASCAR K&N Pro and Nationwide (U.S. Cellular 250 presented by the Enlist ™ by Weed Control System) Series’ will be descending upon Iowa Speedway to assist in making it a jam packed, exciting weekend of day and evening racing.

The raceway is nestled within Marion County, which stretches through about 611 square miles of farmlands, rolling hills and rural terrain. For this week’s edition of Travel Tips, I decided to once again focus on the area around the racetrack because it offers an abundance of things to do and sights to see in Eastern Pennsylvania.
