2nd Annual Better Half Dash Returns to Charlotte Motor Speedway

This charity race will support Motor Racing Outreach (MRO) and the Speedway Children's Charities. The winner of the race will have $10,000 donated in their name towards her favorite charity. Advance tickets are $12 and event day tickets are $20. Kids 13 and under are FREE.
Participants for this race include defending champion Jacquelyn Butler (fiance' of Sprint Cup driver David Ragan), Kris Buescher (wife of James Buescher), Patricia Driscoll (girlfriend of Sprint Cup driver Kurt Busch), SPEED TV reporter Wendy Venturini, Melanie Self (MRO Representative) and Ashley Allgaier (wife of Nationwide driver Justin Allgaier) - just to name a few.
"The Better Half Dash was so much fun last year," Butler said. "I thought it was a very successful and entertaining event for the fans and a great way to let everyone know how much MRO and Speedway Children's Charities means to the NASCAR community. I am so excited for this year's race. We have some exciting things planned to make it even more entertaining for the fans."
There will be three practice sessions held leading up to the race which will occur on the following dates and times:
- Sept. 18, 6 - 9 p.m.
- Sept. 25, 6 - 9 p.m.
- Oct. 9, prior to qualifying and beginning at 6 p.m.
