Last weekend Ryan Blaney drove to victory lane in only his third start in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The 18-year-old will have a long road ahead if he hopes to repeat this weekend at Kentucky Speedway.

During practice Friday morning Blaney made contact with the wall, leaving his No 29 Cooper Standard Dodge badly battered. The team will be forced to go to a backup. At the time of the accident Blaney was 19th quickest.

Leading the first session of the day was the No. 32 of Miguel Paludo.

The trucks return to the track at 11:30 a.m. ET for final practice.
