Travel Tips: Richmond International Raceway

Richmond International Raceway will play host to the NASCAR Nationwide (Virginia 529 College Savings 250) and Sprint Cup (Federated Auto Parts 400) Series this weekend.

After the conclusion of racing this weekend, the 2012 Sprint Cup Chase will begin and our 12 contenders will gear up for battle throughout the last 10 races of the NASCAR season. Many eyes will be on the drivers who will be vying for the two wild card spots, especially Kyle Busch and Jeff Gordon.

Due to the fact that the Richmond, Va., area is huge, this week’s Travel Tips will include a number of links that will allow you to visit sites of interest located throughout the local and surrounding Richmond area.
