United States Grand Prix: Austin Fan Fest

Formula One fans in Austin needn't stop their U.S. Grand Prix experience after the daytime events have come to a close. Austin Fan Fest Powered by Mobil 1 has put together the following handy itinerary of events and happenings. Welcome to Texas and as the locals are oft to say, Keep Austin Weird! Have a great time!

Austin Fan Fest

Austin Fan Fest will transform downtown Austin into the ultimate party atmosphere during race weekend. The full experience incorporates five free stages of music downtown, interactive F1 activities complete with show cars, simulators, as well as gaming, parties and various paid concerts at different downtown venues.

Dates and hours of operation for Austin Fan Fest Powered by Mobil 1 and the downtown concerts and after parties are as follows (all times Central):

Paid Concerts: Austin Fan Fest Powered by Mobil 1 will include three major concerts planned during the evenings of Friday, Nov. 16, and Saturday, Nov. 17. The Austin Convention Center will be transformed into a stylish nightspot, named the “COTA Club.” This transformation into an Ibiza-style nightclub will incorporate amazing sound, lights, video walls, and décor to create the ultimate celebration experience for Austin’s biggest party.  

• Fri. 11/16 at Frank Erwin Center in Austin: Aerosmith and Cheap Trick tickets are on sale at www.Texasboxoffice.com and range in price from $65 to $199 for the general public.
• Fri. 11/16 at the Austin Convention Center: Flo Rida with Cobra Starship and DJ Jillian Ann. Tickets are on sale now at AustinFanFest.com and Ticketmaster.com for $55. 
• Sat. 11/17 at the Austin Convention Center: Enrique Iglesias with Nelly and Tee Double. Tickets are on sale now at AustinFanFest.com and www.ticketmaster.com for $69.

After Parties: Race-goers can also check out glamorous downtown after parties planned at ACL Live at The Moody Theater for the evenings of Nov. 16-18, as well as the Circuit of The Americas “Official After Party” following the Grand Prix on Sunday, Nov. 18.
