Rain puts events at Pocono Raceway on pause

All NASCAR events have been put on pause at Pocono Raceway due to inclement weather.

The first of two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) practices, schedule for 9 a.m. has been delayed. NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) practice scheduled for 10 a.m. was cancelled, along with the Keystone Lite Pole qualifying. The Pocono Mountains 125 NCWTS race is schedule for a 1 p.m. start.

Camping World drivers will line up based on yesterday's practice speeds, which puts Miguel Paludo on the pole. Paludo has six top 10s this season, with a best finish of seventh in the season opener at Daytona. Paludo is currently 10th in the point standings.

NSCS points leader Jimmie Johnson will head the pack for Sunday's GoBowling.com 400. Johnson won the Coors Light Pole with a record-breaking qualifying lap of 180.654 mph. Johnson is currently 75 points ahead of second-place Clint Bowyer.
