TV Schedule: Aug. 16-18

A mainstay, a first and a goodbye.

The Sprint Cup Series and Camping World Truck Series head to Michigan International Speedway, the home of the Big Three auto manufacturers and a regular on the NASCAR schedule.

The Nationwide Series holds its inaugural event at the Mid-Ohio Sports Course. Excitement abounds with the addition of the road course and so many unknowns.

Broadcast-wise, we say goodbye to an old friend. SPEED, an integral part of many racing fans' lives as the go-to network for motorsports coverage, will sign off and change over to FoxSports1 on Saturday. The new network will continue to carry a lot of NASCAR and motorsports programming.
