Pole Report: Brian Scott on pole for 1000th Nationwide Series race

Brian Scott is on the pole for Friday night’s Virginia 529 College Savings 250 at Richmond International Raceway. Scott's time of 21.717 seconds (124.327 MPH) beat out Matt Kenseth for the top starting position.

Five drivers failed to make the field: Carl Long, Derrik Cope, Brett Butler,  Danny Efland, and Morgan Shepherd.
