Travel Tips: Martinsville Speedway – Oct. 25-27, 2013

The Chase for the Sprint Cup heads to Virginia’s Martinsville Speedway for the Goody’s Headache Relief Shot 500 Powered by Kroger on Sunday, Oct. 27. The Cup Series stars are joined by the Camping World Truck Series in the Kroger 200 on Saturday, Oct. 26.

If you’re looking for pre-race hospitality at Martinsville Speedway on Sunday, check out the Party Plaza. The package features live entertainment, games, driver appearances, track walk opportunities and more. Drivers scheduled to appear at the Party Plaza for a question-and-answer session include Jeff Gordon, Jamie McMurray, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Ryan Newman and guitarist Gary Hoey will perform. Tickets are $49 for adults and $25 for kids 12 and under.

Friday, Oct. 25 –
  • Camping World Truck Series practice – 9 and 10:30 a.m. ET
  • Sprint Cup Series practice – noon ET
  • Sprint Cup Series qualifying – 3:40 p.m. ET
  • Camping World Truck Series qualifying – 5 p.m. ET

Saturday, Oct. 26
  • Sprint Cup Series practice – 10:30 a.m. and noon ET
  • Camping World Truck Series Kroger 200 – 5 p.m. ET

Sunday, Oct. 27
  • Sprint Cup Series Goody’s Headache Relief Shot 500 Powered by Kroger – 1:30 p.m. ET
