Travel Tips: Iowa Speedway – May 16-18, 2014

NASCAR’s Nationwide Series and K&N Pro Series East and West head to Newton, Iowa, home of Iowa Speedway, for this weekend’s 2014 Wide-Opening Weekend. The two series will be on track Friday through Sunday, May 16-18.

Friday, May 16 –

• Nationwide Series practices – 9 a.m., 1 and 3:30 p.m. CT 

Saturday, May 17 –

• K&N Pro Series practice – 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. CT
• Nationwide Series practice – 11:30 a.m. CT
• K&N Pro Series qualifying – 4:35 p.m. CT
• Nationwide Series qualifying – 6:10 p.m. CT
• K&N Pro Series Casey’s General Stores 150 – 8 p.m. CT
• Post-race concert – Montgomery Gentry

Sunday, May 18 –

• Nationwide Series Get To Know Newton 250 presented by Sherwin Williams – 1 p.m. CT
