NASCAR Next member Austin Hill is competing full-time in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East in 2014 after winning his first event as a part-time driver in 2013. Learn more about this young talent in this week’s Fast Facts.
  • Austin Hill was born April 21, 1994 in Winston, Georgia. He got his start in Legends cars, winning multiple races and track championships, including the 2008 Legends Semi-Pro Summer Shootout title and the 2009 Legends Pro Championship at Atlanta Motor Speedway. He went on to compete in numerous Late Model races in the southeast.
  • In June 2012, Hill qualified on the outside pole and finished second in the Legends Big Money 100 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The race was won by Tyler Green – son of former NASCAR driver Mark Green – and also featured Jared Irvan – son of former driver Ernie Irvan – and Darrell Wallace Jr.
  • Hill made his NASCAR debut in 2012 in the K&N Pro Series East, running two races. The following season, Hill made five starts in the series, picking up his first win at Dover International Speedway in September.
