NASCAR goes home. The Sprint Cup and Nationwide series return to Charlotte Motor Speedway, located in the heart of NASCAR.

Charlotte marks the fifth race in the Chase for the Sprint Cup, the halfway point of the playoffs.

The Camping World Truck Series is on a two-week break and will return to action Oct. 18 at Talladega.
