What looked to be a sure victory for the No.4 car of Kevin Harvick at Watkins Glen on Sunday became another driver's moment to shine. Harvick ran out of gas on the last lap, opening the door for Joey Logano to steal the win.

This week’s Eyes in the Sky is all about Logano's No.22 Spotter, Tab Boyd.

The season started out strong for Boyd, who spotted Logano to victory at the Daytona 500, a huge win every spotter hopes to achieve.

Before Team Penske, Boyd worked for Earnhardt Ganassi Racing as the spotter for Juan Pablo Montoya.

Boyd started off being a driver. According to a 2013 post on PressDog, he spent a few years as a tire changer in the then Nationwide Series, then found his true calling as a spotter.

Boyd spots for Logano in the Xfinity Series as well. This weekend they saw victory lane twice, for both the Xfinity and Cup series, in a sweep of the Watkins Glen weekend.

The pair celebrated the Xfinity win on Twitter:
Boyd has been the spotter for Logano since 2013, and together the duo has seven wins.

When he’s not the Eyes in the Sky for Logano, Boyd is husband to Suzanne and father to Bentley. After a fun filled weekend, he couldn't wait to be back home with his family:
