Keselowski on Pole for Bojangles' Southern 500

Brad Keselowski will start Sunday's Bojangles Southern 500 from the pole.

It’s fitting that Brad Keselowski will lead the field to green Sunday evening. Fitting, because the Miller High Life paint scheme he’s rocking this weekend is a throwback to the car that won the Southern 500 in 1983. When Bobby Allison won that Darlington trophy -- his fifth -- Keselowski was just a year old.

“It’s just a ballsy racetrack,” said the driver of the No. 2 Ford Fusion when addressing the media Saturday afternoon following his first pole of the season.

Kurt Busch makes his fifth front row start of the season in the No. 41 Haas Automation Chevy. Busch is also carrying a retro scheme that pays tribute to the Stewart-Haas predecessor, Haas CNC Racing. Busch said the Darlington theme has created a unique vibe in the garage and the opportunity to inject a history lesson and some fun into the ordinary.

The 2015 Bojangles' Southern 500 celebrates a return to Darlington’s traditional race date of Labor Day Weekend.
