Note: Driver Ratings compiled from 2005-2015 races (11 total) among active drivers at Las Vegas Motor Speedway

2015 Race Winner: Kevin Harvick

Recent Pole Winners:
2015 Jeff Gordon
2014 Joey Logano

The Likely Suspects: As we go into this third race, I wonder if we'll start to see the "1.5-Mile Wonders" Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski make some real noise? Logano in particular has a knack for Las Vegas with a third-best average finish. In addition to Logano, these drivers should run well this weekend: Jimmie Johnson, Carl Edwards, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Ryan Newman, Paul Menard, Kevin Harvick, Kyle Busch and Martin Truex Jr.

My 2 Cents: My no-brainer pick this week is a tie between Kevin Harvick and Carl Edwards. My next picks are Kyle Busch, Paul Menard, Martin Truex Jr. and Kasey Kahne I will round out my team with Brian Vickers, who's in back in the No. 14 car, and Chase Elliott.

My Final Four: Kevin Harvick, Martin Truex Jr., Kasey Kahne and Chase Elliott.

Points to Ponder:
  • 11 different drivers have won at Las Vegas, led by Jimmie Johnson with four (2005, 2006, 2007 and 2010).
  • Three other drivers have multiple wins at Las Vegas: Matt Kenseth (three), Jeff Burton, Carl Edwards (each have two).
  • Roush Fenway Racing leads the series in wins at Las Vegas with seven, followed by Hendrick Motorsports with five.
  • Four manufacturers have visited Victory Lane in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Las Vegas led by Ford (eight), Chevrolet (seven), Toyota (two) and Dodge (one).
