Travel Tips: Chicagoland Speedway – Sept. 15-18, 2016

The 2016 Chase for the Sprint Cup is on! NASCAR’s annual championship playoffs take center stage for the next 10 weeks, kicking off this weekend, Thursday through Sunday, Sept. 15-18 at Chicagoland Speedway, home of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 400 on Sunday, Sept. 18. Joining the stars of the Cup Series will be the ARCA Racing Series on Thursday, Sept. 15, the Camping World Truck Series on Friday, Sept. 16, and the Xfinity Series on Saturday, Sept. 17.

On Wednesday, Sept. 14, downtown Joliet hosts its annual Race Fan Rally from 4-10 p.m. CT. This free event will feature live music, vendors, food and beverages, a classic car show and more. Get more information on the Race Fan Rally here.
