Travel Tips: Chicagoland Speedway – June 28-July 1, 2018

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series is joined by the ARCA Racing Series, the Camping World Truck Series and the Xfinity Series this weekend at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, IL. On-track action for “Stars and Stripes Weekend” kicks off on Thursday, June 28, culminating with the Overton’s 400 on Sunday, July 1.

On Wednesday night, June 27, downtown Joliet will host its annual Race Fan Rally from 5-10 p.m. CT. This free event will feature live music, vendors, food and beverages, driver appearances and more. Get more information on the Race Fan Rally here.

On Saturday night, June 30, Chicagoland’s sister track, the Dirt Oval at Route 66, will host the “Summer Slash” featuring Tony Stewart’s All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Car Series and the IRA Outlaw Sprint Series – find out more here.
