Kyle Busch dominated the Ultimate Tailgating 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, winning by .932 seconds over Johnny Sauter after taking the lead once the race went green after a lengthy red flag.

Busch earned his 52nd Gander Outdoor Truck Series Victory on Saturday, making him the most winning driver in the series. He was previously tied with Ron Hornaday on the all-time win list.

“It certainly means a lot.” Busch said of breaking the record, “I wanna thank everybody at Cessna and Toyota, our amazing partners that get us here to allow us to do what we do.”

“I had Billy Ballew on board with us here today, and Billy’s right over here as well. It took getting Billy Ballew back on my truck to get us a win here. We may have to make that an annual re-occurrence.”

Busch led 56 laps and won both stages before claiming the victory.

Grant Enfinger finished third, followed by last year's winner Brett Moffitt and Ben Rhodes.

The race was red-flagged with nine laps remaining because of heavy rain at the racetrack. When the race restarted, Busch took the lead while teammate Harrison Burton faded to finish in the eighth position.

Natalie Decker, in her second NGOTS start, had a rough day at the 1.5-mile track after spinning twice in Turn 4, once on Lap 17 and again on Lap 112, ending up 24th.

Sheldon Creed, also making his second Truck appearance, finished 12th after speeding on pit road during the caution. Jordan Anderson, who was also caught speeding, finished 19th.

Jesse Little spun on Lap 117 after a bad restart. Little was tapped from behind by Parker Kligerman. Spencer Boyd, Austin Wayne Self, and Chad Finley were also victims of the multi-truck incident.

A Look Ahead

The Gander Outdoors Truck Series heads to Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Friday, March 1, 2019.
Sauter finished second to Kyle Busch there one year ago. Can the veteran Souter get it done at Vegas and secure his place into the 2019 Playoffs early?

Find out on March 1st at 9 p.m/ET on Fox Sports 1.
