Grant Enfinger earned his second win of the Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series 2020 season on Saturday afternoon at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Enfinger won the event in overtime after Chase Elliott spun in the closing laps during the Vet Tix Camping World 200.

“It was definitely wild, that’s for sure,” Enfinger said, “We didn’t lead too many laps, but we led the ones that counted.”

“Unbelievable Ford F-150 really on the short runs. We didn’t have everything we needed to make a real run at those guys, Chase [Elliott] and Kyle [Busch] there for the long run, but I do think we were decent. But on the short run, I knew if it came right down to it and we could get a good restart, we could make it happen. Fortunately we got a good restart.”

Austin Hill finished second after leading 36 laps. Christian Eckes finished third, while Todd Gilliland and Zane Smith rounded out the top five.

Ross Chastain recovered from a loose wheel to finish sixth, while Derek Kraus, Brett Moffitt, Ben Rhodes, and Stewart Friesen finished seventh through 10th place, respectively.

Matt Crafton recovered from heavy front-end damage to finish in 12th place. The ThorSport Racing driver collided with John Hunter Nemechek at the entrance of pit road during the Stage 1 break pit stops. Nemechek finished in the 25th position, one lap down.

Kyle Busch finished 22nd after being nabbed for a couple of pit road speeding penalties. Busch led 37 laps while securing Stage 1 and Stage 2 victories.

A Look Ahead (with points after Atlanta)

The Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series heads to Homestead-Miami Speedway on Sat. June 13, 2020 at 7:30 p.m./ET and can be seen on FS1.

Enfinger is the only series regular to secure playoff points this season. What impact will it have on the points with eight regular season races before the start of the series playoffs?

Hill extended his points lead by three points, now ahead of Smith and Moffitt. Johnny Sauter fell to eighth in the standings after being disqualified for a tire modification violation. He was originally credited with a 17th-place finish.
