2021 continues to be a great year for Josh Berry. Spire Motorsports announced on Friday that Berry will wheel the No. 77 for Spire Motorsports on Sunday, May 16, at the Monster Mile in Dover, for the Drydene 400 (2 p.m. ET, FS1, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).

With six top-10s and one win in 15 Xfinity starts, Berry is filling in for Justin Haley, who must skip this weekend due to NASCAR COVID-19 protocol. Zane Smith will fill Haley's seat in the Xfinity race on Saturday.

The veteran 2020 Late Model Weekly Series Champion picked up his first career national series win earlier this year as a rookie in the Xfinity race at Martinsville, causing JR Motorsports co-owner Dale Earnhardt, Jr. to admit that the win made him cry out of happiness for Berry.
He is the only driver in JRM history to have earned multiple championships for the team.
