Zane Smith earned his second Camping World Truck Series victory of the 2022 NASCAR season at Circuit of the Americas road course.

Smith led 11 laps of the 46 lap event, which was sent into double overtime on Saturday afternoon. He took the lead for the third and final time after Kyle Busch, Stewart Friesen, and Alex Bowman went three-wide in a door-to-door slamming match for the lead.

Smith held his position ahead of Kyle Busch Motorsports’ John Hunter Nemechek, who earned his best finish of the year after three finishes outside the top-20.

Busch finished third after leading a race-high of 31 laps, while Ben Rhodes and Chandler Smith rounded out the top-five finishers.

Christian Eckes placed sixth, Tyler Ankrum came home with seventh, while Carson Hocevar, Friesen, and Grant Enfinger finished eighth through 10th place, respectively.

Matt Crafton finished 13th after multiple run-ins with the No. 61 of Chase Purdy. Purdy finished 16th.

Brad Perez earned a top-20 result in his NCWTS debut with Reaume Brothers Racing.

A Look Ahead

The Camping World Truck Series has the next week off, but returns on Thursday, April 7th when they head to Martinsville Speedway.
