Denny Hamlin Wins Pole at Talladega

Denny Hamlin will start from the #1 starting position on Sunday at Talladega Super Speedway. 

The Joe Gibbs Racing driver won the Busch Light Pole award over Aric Almirola. Hamlin had a speed of 180.751 mph, while Almirola had a speed of 180.642 mph. 

Ty Gibbs will start third, while Chase Briscoe and Ryan Blaney round out the top five. 

Christopher Bell will start sixth, Martin Truex Jr. will start seventh, while Joey Logano, Kyle Larson, and Chris Buescher round out the top-10 starting order.
