Corey Heim secured victory in Friday night’s Kubota Tractor 200 at Kansas Speedway, passing leader Ty Majeski as his No. 98 Ford ran out of fuel on the final lap of the race.

Heim led a race-high 64 laps before earning his sixth win of the 2024 season.

“We were the best truck all night—it’s my favorite track, I love coming here,” Heim, said. “I look forward to this. I had a smile on my face all week coming to this place.”

“I just thought we could sweep the year here. It’s an awesome place to come. I certainly thought we had it lost there to the 98 (Majeski), almost making it on fuel, but it just shows my team made the right call.”

Heim, who had previously clinched his Round of 8 playoff berth, joins Christian Eckes, Majeski, Nick Sanchez, Rajah Caruth, Grant Enfinger, Tyler Ankrum, and Taylor Gray in the second round for the series championship.

The final laps left on-the-bubble drivers Rhodes and Enfinger on edge regarding their fate. While Rhodes ran as high as third in the closing laps, Enfinger gained positions on the defending champion that ultimately allowed him to advance. Rhodes and Daniel Dye were the two drivers eliminated from championship contention.

Dye had trouble early in the race that sealed his fate, going three laps down after hitting the wall multiple times and pitting to repair the damage. He finished in the 27th position.

Layne Riggs, who failed to qualify for the post season playoffs but earned back-to-back victories in the Round of 10, finished second. Eckes came in third, while Kaden Honeycutt and Dawson Sutton rounded out the top-five finishers.

Tanner Gray finished in sixth place, Caruth in seventh, and Bayley Currey in eighth, while Enfinger and Conner Mosack rounded out the top 10.
